Fushimi inari video!

Hello folks!

Now i'm just gonna make a short update.
I made a short little movie clip when we went to Fushimi Inari shrine.

I think it has a great feeling and i decided to upload it and show you guys! hope you like it! :)

I really liked this Shrine!

Anyway, both me and Peter is having a great time here in Japan.
Yesterday we went to the "nerd" street in Osaka named Nippombashi.
Since we both are quite nerdy we liked it!

(i know it's a super nintendo in the picture, but that's the best picture i found lol!)

Finally i actually bought my own Super Famicom!! (The japanese version of Super nintendo)
It was super cheap so i couldn't hold my money when i saw it!
I've actually wanted one since i don't know when, but since i was very young. Now i just need to go buy some more games.

Fushimi Inari Grand Shrine

As always me and Jens seems to have something going on every weekend and this last one was of no difference. Aside from the fantastically fun visit to a local Izakaya (Japanese styled bar, drink how much you want for 2-hours) with a lot of great people, we actually did something soberly as well. We paid a visit to the Fushimi Inari shrine!

This shrine is very special since normally in Japan when you go to a shrine you are welcomed by a big red gate (from here on referred to as Torii since that's what they are called) but at Fushimi I heard from a old person we meet there that there was over 10,000 torii throughout the whole place! And it's probably true, because you'll see these gates absolutely everywhere you look at the place.

The whole area is a long, long road which probably took us about 3-3½ hours to go (with a lot of stops everywhere, we was quite a large amount of people) and on the way you see a lot of shrines and torii.

Other than that I don't have much to add, look at the pictures as always and try to get a feeling for the place, I really liked it and it's easily the best "sightseeing" place I've been to yet. Jens went nuts with the camera this time so there's a lot to look at, behold!
